Nokia N8 will not be available before mid-October. Nokia has delayed the beginning of delivery of N8 which is first mobile phone based on the new Symbian^3. Previously planned selling start was the end of this month, but date has now moved a few weeks.
The reason for delay is "final adjustment of software", or fixing bugs in translation. According to Nokia representatives, result of this will be a better user experience for mobile customers.
Nokia N8 was announced back in April, and launch was originally scheduled for mid-summer.
